Truth or Gospel, they aren’t the same. Anyone that thinks that they are the same, well, they are the actual reason that I’ve created this blog site thingy.
First I want you to know that I am a world away from the 21st century when it comes to communications technology and therefore have hired some experts to build my presence on the net and provide me with the site and the accounts and what-not to get my ravings out to the public. To Steve and Shiloh and the She-Geek at www.usavecomputerservice.com let me say thank you in the most sincere and heartfelt manner. With them my job is simple. Just to write.
I am Max Oebulet.
I work for a big corporation in a job that is convenient and financially necessary that I hate. Just like many other people. I’m white, which doesn’t matter. I’m older, pushing hard at sixty and average in many ways. The difference is, I understand and am interested in all things stupid. Stupid people. Stupid positions. Stupid things they say. Stupid people they support (Ann Coulter?). In fact, I have developed a new slang for some of these things and if you read these ravings, rants and observations you will become familiar with these new colloquialisms.
So, I’m going to be blogging to try to influence a few votes in this political year that is bound to have many issues come up, debates to be had and candidates to be scrutinized.
There are those that will try to label me and pigeonhole me. There are those that will attack me and call me names.
Bring it on. The positions I espouse are based on a singular theory that is acceptable to anyone that supports a civil society. The reasonable man theory. Basically it states that everybody can deal with everybody reasonably. It’s the foundation of “civil society” and how I evolve my philosophy. Reason. No large testimonials there. Those that are unreasonable are why a reasonable or “civil” society requires steadfastness and truth.
The unreasonable among us are the danger and the hindrance to a civil society.
Who are these unreasonable and un-civil members of our society?
That’s why we are here.
No stupid people beyond this point.
